RAAF Base Amberley open day
- The RAAF Base Amberley Open Day 2024 was held on Saturday, 15 June 2024, marking the first public open day at Australia’s largest operational air base in about 15 years. Entry was free, but tickets were required due to high demand.

- Visitors were able to tour static aircraft displays, including:
- Boeing C-17A Globemaster III
- F/A-18F Super Hornet
- C-27J Spartan
- EA-18G Growler
- Watch live flying displays and demonstrations.
- Meet Australian Defence Force personnel from aviation, engineering, logistics, security, and other roles.
- See military working dogs, fire trucks, Hawkei vehicles, and search-and-rescue demonstrations.
- Flying Displays
- A major attraction was the F/A-18F Super Hornet flying demonstration, which included flare dispensing and low-altitude passes over the base. Official flying display times were:
- 10:30–10:45 am
- 12:45–1:00 pm
